Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has been conferred with the ‘Platinum Technology Award’ at a function held in Geneva, Switzerland.

And the best thing about this honour is the fact that GGSIPU is the first Asian University to receive this award.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting applications for its month-long ‘Leadership Programme on Nutrition Security and Sustainable Development’ for February 2011 session. Graduates in any discipline are eligible for admission.


This programme has been specially designed for people who are already working in the nutrition sector including policymakers and programme implementers, civil society and public health nutrition professionals.

The programme’s main objective is to sensitise and guide people to rely more on evidence-based programming for achieving nutrition-based security and sustainable development.
