DU Planning to Make Colleges Smoke Free

Smoke FreeDelhi University is planning to make 83 of its affiliated colleges “Smoke Free”. The Delhi University has already implemented this successfully in its north campus earlier.

Famous colleges like Kirori Mal, Ramjas and Hindu will now be covered under the new initiative. This decision has been taken after consulting with all the colleges.

This is a welcome step from the DU as I strongly feel that smoking in School or colleges should be completely restricted. But it’ll be interesting to see the effect of this “Smoke Free” initiative as I know there will be plenty of guys who might not be happy with this decision.
