Want to Get into DTU, Get a Good AIEEE Rank

Delhi Technological University has announced the new admission procedure for BTech courses under the Delhi University. From 2010-11 academic sessions, DTU would be admitting aspirants from the NCT on the basis of their All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSC).

University has reserved 85% seats for the Delhi Candidates and the rest 15% for outside Delhi students. While students for outside Delhi category has been admitted on the basis of rank obtained in AIEEE so far, the students from Delhi were selected on the basis of the rank obtained in the Combined Entrance Examination of DU. From the next academic session the admissions for both the category would be based on AIEEE rank, through the counseling conducted by DTU.

The admissions would be made for 14 BTech courses including 10 programs of the erstwhile DCE. Four new courses will be introduced this year including B Tech in software engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, automotive engineering and engineering physics. Prospectus for all the courses will be available from February, next year.
